How to make free price tags

Soon I have a craft show coming up and have been busy pricing some of my things.  I thought I would share with you how I make tags for free.

Oh yeah, speaking of FREE, did you sign up for my blogiversary giveaway to get some Free chalk paint from Maison Blanche Paint Company?

Like everyone else, my family receives cards in the mail such as weddings, birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, etc.  I keep them all and turn these cards into price tags!
Here is a shoe box full of cards I have to keep handy to make price tags.

You can simply cut them out like I do, or use craft scissors or a punch of some kind to make them a bit fancier.
A simple hole punch is used so I can tie twine to attach the price tag to the item for sale.
A simple and free way (well except for the twine) to make some price tags.  We save a lot of other things from landfills, why not greeting cards?

  1. Cool idea - never thought of it! Will start - can see would also be cool for presents and the like. Why spend for a small gift insert or for a repurposed gift bag - when you can make your own!!!
