Window Shadow box

I love old windows and all the things you can do with them.  I ran across a few old windows for free so I decided to give a shadow box a try.  It is not that hard to do.
I had some scrap wood in my garage and built a small frame.  Lucky for me this frame was already primed!

From there I painted a small square of beadboard and tacked it on the back.  I also added a shelf inside using some moulding.

Then I attached the window using some hinges I have in my stash. I also used a magnet closure so the window won't come open on accident.

Here is the finished product.  I am thinking I might hang it in my bathroom over my garden tub.
